Publisher compatibility with Windows 7

My XP installation went wrong and the CD was missing so I bit the bullet and upgraded to Vista, then Win 7 as it was free to do so. Is there any news of Publisher, that I have been using since Timeworks days and my first PC in 1988 or so, being compatible with Win 7? Many thanks for any advice.

In our in-house testing, Publisher 4.6 runs happily on Windows 7. We are currently going through the process of getting Publisher "logo-ed" as being officially "Compatible with Windows 7".

Old versions of Publisher (v 4.2x and earlier) can be made to run on Windows 7 by using XP compatibility mode and running as administrator.

Last night when I was looking through the site to see if my Win7 query was answered somehwere I am sure I found a double discount code for holders of existing products who wanted to upgrade, and a box with a code appeared when I looked at Publisher 4.6. Tonight I cannot find it!! Was I dreaming?
