Publisher 4.6 under Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Hello Everyone,

I've just purchased from you're site Publisher 4.6 ( 19th Feb 2010) which I choose as I prefer to have the media rather than downloading it digitally.

Unfortunately when I've gone to install it on my New Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit PC it comes up with an error message when I try to install it:

D:\setup.exe

Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed.

I've tried running it as an administrator and in both Windows XP and Vista compatibiliy modes without success.

I'm very disappointed to discover this as when I checked the forums before purchase I read that in house testing showed that it worked fine under Windows 7.

Please advise.

I think there might be a problem with your CD or DVD drive.

If you see the Microsoft Knowledge base article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891894, hopefully this will solve your problem (I would recommend trying method 3 first).
