DESK CALENDARS ... Empty DESK CALENDARS ...

Post  BJZoe Mon Dec 21, 2009 8:45 am

I bought this last week and received it today, having watched the programme on C&C/IW. I was so looking forward to making calendars. Well I installed it on my laptop which runs on Windows 7 and I keep getting an error message ...

Application Error

A problem has developed with Greenstreet Art and Craft which has prevented it from being able to continue running. This may be because you tried to perform an operation for which you did not have sufficient privileges, or it may be an internal problem. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.

An unknown error has occured

Continue running (the program may not be stable)
Close and restart the application
Close the application.

I have tried to re-run it, and it still won't work ... is there a way round this please??

DESK CALENDARS ... Empty SNAP same problem re Desk Calendars CDROM

Post  VICKY Mon Dec 21, 2009 12:14 pm

To BJZoe

I had my Desk Calendars CD rom from IW/C&C today as well. I tried mine on Windows XP and Windows 7 and had exactly the same problem as you to the letter

I am so disappointed because I wanted to do a special calendar for my 84 year old mother.

Please can the computer boffins get it sorted out for us, as I don't think BJZoe and myself are the only ones with the same problem.

Thanks Vicky

Do you know if you have got a 64-bit operating system?

There was a problem with the very first batch of CDs that were made (which I think were sent out to some IW/C&C customers unfortunately), which meant that the install did not always work correctly on 64-bit operating systems.
The method we usually recommend is to downloads and install the trial version from our website http://greenstreet-online.com/downloads/art-and-craft/index.html.

Hopefully this should fix the problem.

Sorry for all the hassle.
