Publisher 5.0: German hyphenation works wrong

I upgraded to Publisher 5.0 a few months ago. I found out that the German hyphenation seems to be changed since 4.5 and it doesn't need the German needs anymore: It hyphenates wrong, although the document language is set to German.
Do I have to go back to Version 4.5/4.6 or is there a chance to have that problem fixed?
