Desktop Blue Screens but Installs fine on Laptop

Please help, very strange, have Professor Teaches, Word, Excel etc.

Program installs ok but when I run the application Windows blue screens with a STOP error.
However run the same program on a laptop it runs fine.

Both are on XP.
Direct X is up to date

What is the error message on the blue screen?

Does the problem occur on any other programs on your desktop computer and does it always occur when you run a Professor Teaches product on that computer?

Windows STOP messages usually means there is something wrong at a low level on the computer; either with a system driver or with the computer hardware itself. Have you installed or updated any parts or drivers in your computer recently?
