Mahjong tales won't play
Hi, Can anyone help please?
I recently enstalled Mahjong tales on to my laptop Windows Vista.
Everything was working fine until the battery finished half way through a game.
The next day I went to play the game & it came up with:-
Display Change Failed
Hardware Failed to switch to the specified mode
I have tried to uninstall it & reinstall & the same message comes up.
I have also gone through the help pages to send to shortcut ect, still no joy.
Any ideas please? I would be very gratefull
Thanks Alison

Re: Mahjong tales won't play
I've never had this problem myself, but looking round the internet it seems that it is bug somewhere between Vista and the Intel graphics card driver. For some reason the driver gets confused and thinks it is in one mode when it is in another.
The workrounds suggested is to manually change the screen resolution down before trying to run the game.
Right click on a blank area of the desktop, click "Personalize", in the window that opens choose "Display Settings" and then change the resolution down to 800 x 640 and change the "Colors" to 16 bit .
Hopefully the act of changing it manually should fix the problem so you don't have to change the setting each time you want to run the game.
