These were made some time ago and inthe interim my pc has crashed and been "reborn" Proble:-I have tried to open these files today and get the msg. that windows cannot open these files as it does not rcognise the .art file extension. I have tried re-installing Publisher 3 but have had no joy. Can you please help?

The ".art" file extension is for files made by Draw (Publisher files have the extension ".dtp"). I presume you had a copy of Draw on your machine before it crashed.
